From Website to On-site. The Ultimate Priceless Surprise for a Business Owner.

| December 18, 2015 | Technology & Innovation

pricelssMasterCard gave online business owner Andrew Cheung of Curated Basics the ultimate Priceless Surprise – the opportunity to open his own pop-up store in New York City to jump start his holiday sales!

Three years ago, Andrew, a financial analyst, decided to pursue his passion for design and start his own online men’s accessory business – Curated Basics. His business features a collection of basics like socks, cufflinks, and ties. It’s all about color and humor over at Curated Basics, the NYC-based design brand. These accessories are affordable and add happy pops of color to your wardrobe.

The challenge with an online store is that customers aren’t able to touch and feel the products. The Curated Basics pop-up store, not only gave customers the opportunity to touch and feel the products, but also enabled Andrew to meet his customers in person.

MasterCard Easy Savings® partners were there to help power the Curated Basics pop-up store. ShopKeep helped him track his inventory and sales, Monster helped him hire additional staff and Yiftee helped him surprise his existing online customers with eGift cards to help drive traffic to his pop-up store.

This experience of being able to connect with his customers, only reinforced Andrew’s desire to open his own storefront in the near future. Watch his video now.
