From a strategic point of view, this webinar addresses what a contract is and up to what point a company needs to have a document that accredits the signing of a contract. In this webinar, Josep Bertran will explore the implications of whether a company demands a signed contract or not, depending on the credibility of the recipient, of the trust established between the parties and finally how these perspectives change over time throughout the duration of the operation.


Josep Beltrán, an RGX consultant since 2004, specializes in foreign trade flows between Europe and the Americas, an expertise he has developed during his career advising companies on both continents in negotiating international sales purchases. He is an industrial engineer with a Masters in International Business and Business Administration, EAE School of Management, Barcelona (Spain). He was commercial attaché for Spain’s Embassy in New York City (USA), promoting business and investment. He is currently overseeing a project to train top executives of large European and Russian companies in issues related to the internationalization of businesses. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses at the University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain) in issues related to international trade. He has edited four books on international business over the last 15 years.
